Steam Breathing

Breathing in steam can help ease irritated sinuses, and if the nasal passages are clogged with mucous, these can be cleared up as well. When you’re suffering from an allergy attack, you can place boiled water in a basin so that you can lean over it and breathe in the steam. For best results, put a large towel over your head and the basin so that the vapor is contained. You can also add a drop of eucalyptus oil into the boiled water so as to benefit from its soothing effects. This type of essential oil also carries with it anti-inflammatory properties to help with the symptoms of allergies.
