Smoking & a Royalty

Since time immemorial, smoking has been one of the many habits that people find hard to quit. It seems that the pleasure it provides can never amount to anything that this world can offer. Even scientists suggest that nicotine – the substance found in tobacco – can be more addictive than heroin.

Not surprisingly, leaders and celebrities are also victims of smoking, fame and advocacy of natural therapies. Their popularity does not veer them away from the abstinence of smoking. Yes, that royal guy from the British Monarchy is an infamous practitioner of smoking.

Despite his outspokenness to quit smoking, Prince Harry fails like any other human beings. His attempts are like a shot to Olympus to challenge Zeus in a duel. At the end of the day, you see him photographed with a cigarette on his hand and even puffing a Marlboro Gold during his Walking with the Wounded North Pole event.

As a matter of fact, in January 2007, the royal prince vowed to never light a single stick, yet was seen smoking after his trip from Afghanistan. The Prince alibied boredom as his reason for smoking again. Well, this can be true to you and other smokers out there. There are just a number of reasons to list, and you know you can talk about that all day.

According to a recent statistical research, a study shows that 10 million of people all over the world puff a cigarette publicly. 86% of them smoke because they just want to bypass time. See, that’s the sickening power of smoking.

The minute it gets to you, everything else is inevitable. Time will only tell how a single cigarette has affected your entire life. And just like Prince Harry, you experience the same thing. You start your day with the hope and enthusiasm to stop and start living a life much healthier than before.
