Blood Clot / Blood Clotting

Blood has a seemingly impossible job: it must flow continuously and smoothly all over the body for an entire lifetime; however, it can quickly shut off to prevent spills when you get either a cut or an injury.

Blood clots are considered to be both healthy and lifesaving when they stop bleeding. However, they can also form when they aren’t needed and can cause heart attack, stroke, or other serious medical conditions.
