For ADHD:
Essential oils can also be used to help deal with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). However, you should use them only in certain amounts. Here are a few examples:
- 15 drops for balance
- 7 drops of patchouli essential oil
- 15 drops for serenity
- 25 drops of lavender essential oil
- 8 drops of vetiver essential oil
In addition, for ADHD, you can place vetiver essential oil in a diffuser and inhale it.
For Bone Fractures:
Broken bones can be an amazingly hard problem to deal with. However, there’s a natural way for you to heal those broken bones faster. To help hasten the bone mending process all you need to do is use the following essential oils:
- 10 drops of wintergreen or birch
- 3 drops of helichrysum
- 2 drops of lemongrass
- 3 drops of pine
- 4 drops of ginger
- 4 drops of vetiver
All you need to do is to mix these in a carrier oil before massaging on the affected area, then you’ll slowly feel that bone healing will come.
For Cold Sore:
Oregano and thyme essential oil can be consumed orally to help heal cold sores. Just mix in 2 drops of each in 250ml of water 2-3 times daily (make sure they’re ingestible).
A mixture of lavender essential oil and eucalyptus essential oil can help deal with sores when applied topically, as well.
For Colds:
Pine essential oil, derived from the pine tree, can help clear your nasal passages for you to breathe better. It can also help relieve the pain of a sore throat.
Lavender essential oil (lavandula angustifolia) is known to have both antiseptic and antimicrobial properties, and it’s gentle enough for children to use. It can help deal with colds and flu. All you need to do is to mix a couple of drops of lavender essential oil with eucalyptus and apply it topically.
Peppermint essential oil is known to have both antiseptic and anti-viral properties, and it can be used as a powerful expectorant. Use peppermint oil in a steam inhaler, but make sure children are not present when using this essential oil.
